Frequently asked questions

My name is Sam Bustamante. My wife, Pam and I, are life-long residents of El Paso, Texas. I am a teacher, recently retired from the Ysleta Independent School District, and still teaching in the Gadsden Independent School District. My wife is a physical therapist in the Early Childhood Intervention program at Region 19. We have six children ranging in age between 18 and 31.

Two of our sons–the Bin Brothers–have decided to join us on this adventure of starting a new business. Aaron is 29 years old. He is a graduate of Cathedral High School and has an entrepreneurial spirit. In his spare time, he has been applying his dry sense of humor as a stand up comic in the local comedy scene. Christopher, 18 years old, is a recent graduate of Burges High School. He likes to cook, skateboard, and workout. He also has an entrepreneurial spirit. He sees the Bin Brothers as a launching pad for starting college or one day starting his own business.

In all the years that we have made El Paso our home, we have been blessed with many friends and family. We are not a franchise, and all our income supports the local economy. We look forward to expanding within the city and county as we provide excellent service to our wonderful community.

We can provide a one-time cleaning called our “Basic” which costs $40. It’s our most expensive plan because it requires the most work to remove years of build-up. Our subscription rates start at “Good” ($30 for once every 3 months), “Better” ($25 once every 2 months), and “Best” ($20 once every month). We also offer a “Premium Service” of ($15 every 2 weeks). Our services always include 1 trash bin (grey) and 1 recycle bin (blue). Any additional bins cost $10.

Trash bins, when not maintained on a regular basis, can smell terrible and harbor germs. They can become breeding grounds for maggots, flys, roaches, and rodents. Trash bins are sometimes placed near outdoor grills creating an unsanitary environment when preparing food. During this pandemic, our awareness of cleanliness has become heightened. We have come to realize that illness can be a direct result of unsanitary practices. Some people ignore the problem. But for those who throw out the trash and touch the handles and the lid, it’s disgusting! Do them a favor, and routinely clean your bins using one of our subscriptions.

Let’s take a look at what’s involved in cleaning your bins. If you simply use soap and water from the tap, elbow grease, a brush, or a power washer (which you may not own), your method will not sanitize your bins. The time, work, soap and chemicals, not to mention the amount of water used will exceed the costs and may be harmful to your yard, pets, or children. Let us wash your bins. Our system steam cleans your bins at temperatures of over 200 degrees. All water is recycled through a thorough filtration system which is good for the environment. It’s fast and easy, and we do the job that no one else wants to do.

Bin Brothers is a family owned business, and we are customer centered. We still believe in the traditional value that “the customer is always right!” We are reliable, dependable, and friendly. Our subscriptions are not contracts, and if you are not satisfied with our service, you can cancel the service at any time at no additional cost. We provide several payment plans depending on your needs, all at affordable prices.

No one needs to be home when we provide our service. Please leave your trash bins by the curb or easily accessible to our service provider. We will attempt to clean your bins either the same day that your trash is picked up by the city/county or the next day at the latest. After we clean, sanitize, and deodorize your bins, we will place them near the home (driveway, garage, or carport).

The answer to this question depends on your trash bin usage and personal comfort level. Are you disposing of several bags of trash that contain odorous content? In other words, what’s in your trash? Diapers, leaf and yard clippings, things that are really smelly or standard regular trash? Our different subscription services, Good, Better, Best, and Premium will clean, sanitize, and deodorize your trash bins on a regular basis at your preferred comfort level.
